Catalan sports paper Sport claims that if Barcelona in the end wouldn't be able to sign Shakhtar Donetsk defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22) or Arsenal midfielder and Spain international Cesc Fabregas (22), Barcelona could put an end to the transfer summer and postpone the transfrs until the January transfer window next year.At the end of the year, the situation of both players could have changed and Barcelona could then try again for Cesc and Chygrynskiy, or move for other players who could strengthen the squad for the second half of the season and especially for the months of January and February when Barcelona players Touré and Keita will leave for the Africa cup.

Winter transfers are way more expensive than in the summer. The players are over valued and it is harder for the player to atapt.
I love Barca but Tixi failed big time this year. He started really late. He should have anticipated Madrids big moves and started early and he could have avoided the inflated prices.
Our squad is ok but if injuries hit or when the Afrcn Cup comes around we're really gonna feel it. Jan and Feb is the same time when Barca are gonna be in the Club World Cup and Champs league and League.

U r right Marc but still this whole situation in the transfer market is really bad. We have a thin squad and so far we have lost Helb, Sylvinho, Eto and Caceres and Pep doesn't want Gudi. Dos Santos and the likes might be good against Mallorca and mid level teams but i dont think they can keep up in games against bigger clubs. Our midfield is very thin and Tixi is really failing at negotiations and overall strategy of Barca transfers.

Barca realy need to get Balazs Dzsudzsak from PSV. Until Arsenal dosent get him. He is An excellent Left Winger and midfilder. Super faast, has a sharp shot, and is technical wery good, He is 22 and he got better a lot in last 2 years, Talented guy. Can be cheap enough for Barca. Why dosent see Pep what Arsene Wenger See????
