Barcelona has officially announced that the club has reached an agreement with Barcelona Atlètic forward Emilio Guerra (26) to end the contract of the player, that expired next year.Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo already announced the news yesterday. New Barcelona Atlètic manager Luis Enrique, who asked for a renewal of Guerra's expiring contract last month, would not have been pleased with the performances and the attitude of the player during the first days of the pre-season, starting with the player not showing up for the first days of training without the authoriaztion of the club.
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that the absence at the beginning of the season, which was caused by the honeymoon of Guerra, was just the first of a series of disputes between the player and his coach, that lead Luis Enrique to ask the club for the cancellation of the contract that was just renewed one month ago.
