Scottish tabloid Daily Record claims that Celtic Glasgow has entered talks with Barcelona about signing Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas (20) on a permanent deal.Barcelona would be asking a transfer fee of 3 million euro° and wants to include a first option clause in case Crosas would leave Celtic. If Crosas is to complete a loan deal for the upcoming season, Celtic could pay Barcelona a fee around 600 000 euro°.
A Barcelona spokesperson is quoted by the tabloid as confirming the talks to journalists: "Celtic have talked to us about both a loan and permanent deal regarding Marc Crosas. They know what that will cost. Marc is to travel to America with the team so we don't think anything will happen until they return."
Crosas himself admitted to the tabloid that he would prefer to get his next deal sorted out sooner rather than later because he knows he won't be a regular at Barcelona this season: "I want to start training with my new team as quickly as possible."
