Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona forward and Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o (27) could stay at the club if Arsenal doesn't accept Barcelona's final offer for Arsenal centre forward Adebayor (read more here).Barcelona thinks that they have now negotiated long enough for Adebayor and won't make any new proposal if the last bid is also rejected by the English Premier League club.
Because the Barcelona technical staff thinks that there are no other valid candidates available on the market, that would mean that Eto'o will not leave Barcelona this summer. The coaches are convinced that they could bring Eto'o back to his best level.
Eto'o, whose contract with Barcelona expires in 2010, would also only be willing to leave for a club who offers him a better contract.
