Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona will soon make a final offer for Arsenal forward and Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor (24).The bid would include 10 million euro° plus Barcelona forward and Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o (27), which would together be the 40 million euro° that Arsenal is asking for their striker. If needed, Barcelona would even be ready to offer some more cash.
Although AC Milan is also interested in Adebayor, Barcelona would be the favourites to sign the player both because of financial reasons and because of the will of the player. Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola would want to close the deal as soon as possible, so Adebayor can play in the matches Barcelona will have to play next month to qualify for the Champions League.
Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo meanwhile claims that Arsenal has dropped the asking price to 30 million euro°.
