British tabloid The Daily Mirror claims that Barcelona is still interested in Portsmouth left back defender and Algerian international Nadir Belhadj (26) (read more here).Barcelona scouts would have watched Belhadj during last week's Uefa cup game between Portsmouth and AC Milan and the club would now be ready to make a bid for the Algerian full back.
Belhadj joined Portsmouth on a season-long loan last summer when French club Lens, which he joined from Olympique Lyon in January, got relegated to the second division. Portsmouth would want to sign the defender permanently for 4,5 million euro°.
