Barcelona's medical staff has announced that Barcelona player Carles Puyol (30) was yesterday substituted in the second half of the game against Sporting due to an overburdening of some muscles in his left thigh.To give the player the chance to recover, Barcelona has agreed with the Spanish football federation that Puyol won't play Wednesday's friendly game with the Spanish national team.
