Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona placer Gabriel Milito (28) will make an evaluation of his recovery during the next two weeks (read more here). The central defender plans to intensify the training exercises in the next ten to twelve days to see how his knee is responding.
At this moment it is expected that the Argentinian will have to recover for at least another month. Milito wants to take the time he needs and doesn’t want to take risks.
Milito suffered a right knee injury on 29 April 2008 during the second game of the Champions League semi-finals against Manchester United last season. The predicted recovery time was then being estimated between six and nine months.
