British tabloid The Daily Star claims that Barcelona is interested in Arsenal winger and English international Theo Walcott (20).

Barcelona would be among the clubs that are monitoring the renewal talks between Arsenal and Walcott, whose contract expires at the end of next season. Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid would also be watching developments.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has postponed all contract renewal talks until the summer, which has increasingly frustrated the player’s advisers. Arsenal would run the risk of losing Walcott for less than 450 000 euro° because new FIFA rules state that any buying club would just have to pay 100 000 training costs for every year that the English striker has been at Arsenal.
