Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona forward and Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o (28) has informed the club that he won't leave at the end of the season.Eto'o and his agent Josep Maria Mesalles have rejected all offers and verbal proposals the player has received by other clubs. The striker is happy in Barcelona and doesn't want to start from zero in another country, league and club (read more here).
Regarding a possible contract renewal, Eto'o, whose contract expires in the summer of 2010, didn't yet take a stand and plans to wait for Barcelona to make the first move. It is expected that Eto'o would want to extend his contract with three more years, including a considerable pay rise. After his time at Barcelona, he would want to retire at Mallorca.
