Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona (read more here), Standard de Liège forward and Serbian international Milan Jovanovic (27) had said in an interview with the official website of the Serbian football association that he would blindly accept an offer:"Thinking about Barcelona is already a nice thing, let alone playing for this team! If an offer by the Catalans comes in, I won't think twice for sure. I'm not afraid of the competition! Jokes aside, there are numerous offers but I will think of a transfer only when the season ends and when I finished my job for the national team."
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that the transfer fee asked for Jovanovic, who has a contract with his Belgian club until the summer of 2010, would be around 7 million euro°.
