Madrid sports tabloid Marca claims that Barcelona is interested in Atlético Madrid forward and Uruguayan international Diego Forlán (29).Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola would want to sign Forlán, whose contract with Atlético expires in 2011, if Barcelona forward Eto'o leaves at the end of this season.
With the permission of Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain, Barcelona would already be putting funds aside to make a bid for Forlán in the summer. The Uruguayan striker is said to have a buyout clause of 36 million euro°.
