Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Valencia left wing attacker and Spanish international David Silva (23) is the alternative option for Barcelona in case the transfer of Bayern Munich attacker and French international Franck Ribéry (26) wouldn't go through (read more here).Asked about the rumours linking Silva to several European top clubs among which Barcelona, the player's agent José Segui has confirmed in an interview with British sports site Sky Sports that a number of clubs have enquired about the player: "At this time it is normal there are many stories in the papers about transfers, but the decision depends on Valencia. It is certain that some clubs have asked about the boy, but he has a deal with Valencia and he is happy in the city."
