British tabloid The Daily Mirror claims that Barcelona is ready to make a bid of 13,5 to 17 million euro° for Chelsea left back defender and English international Ashley Cole (28) (read more here).Chelsea is not willing to give in to the wage demands of Cole, whose current contract expires in 2011 and who want to sign a renewal that would make him earn as much as the club's top earners.
New Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen to keep Cole but has been told the club will not stretch their wage budget to accommodate him. Real Madrid and Manchester City would also be interested in the English left back.
