Algerian sports paper Le Buteur claims that Sif Eddine Cherifi "Sisso", a five-year old Algerian football player, will travel to Barcelona for tests next month.Sisso, who would be monitored by several European clubs, will be at Barcelona's youth academy from 12 to 27 July, after which the club will decide if he can stay. The player will be accompanied by his father. In August, he will do a training course with French club Olympique Marseille.

He may be 5 but if his family wants to move and we are willing to take a chance on them i dont see a problem. Would you tell a 5 year old catalan child that he cannot come to the barcelona academy? And hasnt the world become a global village? So why shouldnt a child from africa or the caribbean have the same chance as a child from europe?

If he come to our academy, wouldnt it be WAY better than staying at his own country?
First thing is , financially he ( and his family ) wouldnt have a problem.
Secondly if he really want to be a footballer, is there any other better place you can go to ? Even if you arent barca material, you'll at least be able to make a decent living as a footballer if you graduate from our academy.

2. What's the problem if he signs? He'll probably get a better education (normal education and footballwise) in Barcelona, so just be happy for the kid. I might think it's better for a kid to move when you're 5 than when you're 12 or 15.
