Asked about his future, Barcelona attacker and Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen (30), whose contract expires next year, is quoted by Spanish news agency EFE as saying after the pre-season friendly against Tottenham that he still doesn't know where he will play next season:"Despite the rumours that I could leave this summer, I'm now focusing on the physical aspect, trying to get in shape as good as possible. A return to England? England is not the only country where football is being played. There are a lot of options."
Catalan sports paper Sport meanwhile claims that it's unlikely Gudjohnsen will stay this season, although this could depend on the incoming transfers for the midfield positions. Barcelona also wouldn't be willing to let the player go for free.

We can't get anything for him, as usual, because we pay so insane wages that no club wants to pay a reasonable transfer fee when we sell.
