Benfica has today officially announced the transfer of Barcelona player Keirrison (20).Keirrison will join the Portuguese club on a one-year loan, with an option for a second loan year.

Keirrison is better than anyone they have on their books. He would not have gone to Benfica unless Barca was given some assurance he would feature. He had a list of good clubs he could have gone to instead. He should integrate quickly given he obviously knows the language.
