Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona has rejected a loan offer by newly promoted Spanish first division club Zaragoza for Barcelona polyvalent defender and midfielder Víctor Sánchez (21).Zaragoza reportedly wanted to sign Víctor Sánchez as full-back, while Barcelona wants the player to get more experience as midfielder.
Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristian would yesterday have been in contact with the player's agent to discuss his future.
The only alternative option would at this moment be a loan to Deportivo La Coruña, although Deportivo president Augusto César Lendoiro wouldn't be willing to include the Catalan in a transfer deal on Deportivo left back Filipe.
