Barcelona trained yesterday at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. More than 4 500 fans turned up to watch the training session. Tonight, there are expected to be 85 000 people attending the Los Angeles Galaxy vs Barcelona friendly game.
I am surprised there wasn't more out there. i know if barcelona comes to play in my country (trinidad) the whole stadium would be full just to see them walk around LOL
@MESSI-10 , I see your point but the US is NOT a country where football is the most popular sport . American "football" , baseball, basketball and hockey are more popular !!
Hello! The Barça has followers around the world and raise expectations for all sites. It again demonstrates the greatness of our team. Greetings sílvia
Anony---yeah I know.. A time I went to the U.S. maybe when I was 9 and I heard these guys talking bout playing football and I got excited to show my 'fan' (LOL) not knowing is pigskin they throwing around when I reached! DAMMIT
@MESSI-10 , I have lived in the US for many years . I eventually began to like basketball and American football but nothing compares to football as we know it . Football as it should be played : the Barça way !!
messi 10 what are you talking about? im not 100% sure but this is usually how it works over here (not saying this isnt a stupid way to do it) they sell tickets to these friendlies for a variety of sections, the club seats can cost around 125 to 150$ and those people get to watch the team practice and get prefered parking. would you pay 75$ for parking and to see the revs practice when you can watch the game for 50$ ? i wouldnt, im pretty sure in trinidad they dont do it that way. THATS why everyone would watch the practice there, and not here.
If Barca came to Australia they would pack out the Melbourne Criket Ground and get a standing ovation from over 98,000 fans! We love sport down here. When the Greek national team arrived there were over 100,000 people just to greet them in the city! The match was a sell out. Again over 90,000 people.
Aussie rules may be the local sport but Aussie love football at the highest level.
