Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona (read more here), Arsenal right back defender and Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboué (26) has said in an interview with British sports site Sky Sports that he feels honoured: "It is an honour to be linked with the best team in Europe, that means I am valued by people. I have lost my Arsenal place, and, while the papers talked about Fiorentina, nothing happened. So I don't know about Barcelona, let's wait and see."

JMK Said,
He is probably shocked, just like Verthongen, Benayoun, Toni and others.

Joshua Said,
once again correct thinking by the sports director i think, such additions will most likely pay off; he does the neccessary work of a right back

gwo Said,
Eboue's attitude will cause problems. He is constantly whining and moaning. This can not be tolerated in Barcelona.

Sounds like a quitter. Hey, if you uneasy to compete with other players, you think you will survive here?
Whatever...

Check this link:

However, I highly doubt that we will proceed on the "ocean" plan.

buj Said,
Ya fury, saw that on goal.com. All I can do is laugh at the idea that Belusconi can steal Cesc from us for only 35mil when Barca itself has to give an arm and a leg. LOL

SJP Said,
if this goes through the arsenal fans will help pack his bags and do a little jig, serious risk to squad harmony but it said he's friends with yaya and keita so pep can use yaya to threaten him, it would work for me!

ANTI-MADRIDISTA Said,
This guy brings so much experience to the table having played in so many competitions and he would fit in perfect here at Barca. Being that of all the EPL teams Arsenal play more similar style to Barca IMO. I think this has to be one of our greatest transfer move this summer if we could acquire him at 8-10. Since we obviously aren't picking up Cesc anytime soon. Eboue could provide an adequate back-up relief for not only Alves but Puyol too.
Eboue does not suck.

Etsp Said,
I haven't seen enough matches of him the last season to say that he sucks football-wise, but his personality makes me worried about him working out in Barca. Never mind Zlatan's ego, a temperamental diver (remember for example the 2006 final against Arsenal?) would be harder to work out into the Barca style of play.
By the way, very nice blaugrana1, immediate ad hominem, proves you're just as much a kid mentally. I'm 20, the picture is three years old.
