Guardiola satisfied with US tour

00:25 Posted by Editor
Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola shared his thoughts after the Chivas Guadalajara friendly game at a press conference:

"I'm very satisfied, we have ran a lot, we have recovered the ball very quick. The players have also been training at a very high level.

I don't have any complaints. We finalize this tour in the US with a good feeling. Certain things remind me of the past. Chivas plays very well, they have a dynamic way of playing and they have been together for a long time.

Why didn't Henrique play? I preferred to see Muniesa and Fontàs in action. They did very well, not only on the pitch but during the whole training camp. They're young but they know the way of playing and we have a shortage of centre-backs. We'll see how they will do in the next games."

Guardiola prefers a left foot central defender to play along with Pique or Puyol. I think frankly Fontas and Muniesa is better than Henrique. Muniesa is the future, he is just 17 and plays as a central defender. God bless him. If Guardiola wants to keep Henrique, he will play as a right back. or else he will be loaned, or even sold.
