Asked about the rumours linking Barcelona midfielder Víctor Sánchez (21) with a loan move to Xerez (read more here), the player's agent Eladio Pereiro has again confirmed to Andalusian regional radio station Canal Sur thata deal is close:"We've already reached a economic agreement with Xerez and now we are still waiting for some burocratic issues, the paperwork to be done by Barcelona.
Once we can get a look at the papers and it's correct, we'll take the player to Jerez. We hope things to be resolved today, so he can arrive in the weekend. If not, it will be for the beginning of next week.
Víctor is just waiting for my call saying that everything has been solved. He's very motivated. He knows it's a newly promoted club, that the whole city is behind this new project and he wants to have more playing time compared to last season in Barcelona."
