The game shows our lack of squad depth. It is non-existant. One forward, one midfielder and one defender is really needed, but I don't think we will get any, and just play 17 year olds instead.

I didnt think bojan played that good of a game: he runs too much with the ball. He tries to take on 2-3 defenders which doesnt work, he needs to pass the ball much quicker!

So... do we really need to spend like Real Madrid? No! It was far from perfect- but with pppl missing we still won. Not every game will end with 5:0. With Ibra, messi and Iniesta out- that was good enough for me. We probably need 1 or 2 more players. NOTHING MORE! Pedro just showed why it IS worth it to give those younger players a chance. Now- did Hleb have one single game as good as this Pedro's one on the right wing? I thought so...
Of course we are still gonne getr some kids here who played Football Manager one time too many saying that we need to spend every single penny on some Hulks or sth... yeah, whatever... I just hope the new president will not want to appeal to those kind of fans...

Abidal was a rock today and so was Keita and both Bojan(1st half) and Pedro(2nd half) were very good... not every one is a messi for gods sake, we missed 3 of the top 5 players in the world today and still played brilliantly had it not been for a sad own goal(or deflected as u might call it) and a long list of missed chances and shots which unluckily hit the post(both bojan and alves) we would have won it 5-0 or 6-0...
So stop being pessimistic and for gods sake be optimistic for once in ur life u GLORY HUNTERS! im sick of u guys...

so at 70-80th minute the ball possetion was 53% barca and 47% atletic, and 4 shots on target for us 2 for atletic.....did we watch a different game?just because we won 1-2 and had 2 posts doesnt mean we had a good game.we didnt move the ball well ,we werent a threat infront,the only good thing in this match was our defence.and no i dont say this in order to get more signings or because i am a pessimist,i rated the match m8,my oppinion ,dont like it write yours and @%$@^%&^&*....

I agree with Skanjos guys. WE DEFINITELY need another controller in midfield alongside Xavi and iniesta in our squad (not neccessary on the field at the same time but maybe it could work in a match or two). Plus i really thought we were going to be with two prime strikers this season (I Eto'o had stayed we would've still be after Villa) I think we need either a good winger/striker or another striker. I'm all for Bojan improving but not at the cost of a game. That being said i believe in him to an extent but in general our team needs to be more CLINICAL...from last year. Yes, despite all those goals. Guardiola still needs to talk to his defense tho. And it's either we keep Henrique and he improves here or we're getting someone.
