Asked about the rumours linking Barcelona midfielder Víctor Sánchez (21) with a loan move to Xerez (read more here), the player's agent Eladio Pereiro has confirmed the loan in an interview with Jerez local newspaper La Voz de Jerez:"There's a total agreement between the two clubs. The contract with Xerez has been drawn up, so the operation will be closed once the player can go to the club and sign the papers. If the plans of Txiki Begiristain allow it, this will happen today."
Asked about the Víctor Sánchez, Xerez manager Cuco Ziganda said at a press conference yesterday that he would be happy if the Catalan could join his team: "It's a player who can add dynamism and hard work to our team. It's someone who's very motivated to show what he can in the first division. If I would have to wait for one more week, I will wait. I won't sign other players just to sign someone."
