Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Palmeiras central defender and Brazilian international Henrique Adriano Buss (21) (picture, on the right), who will sign for Barcelona, won't be officially presented as new Barcelona player by the club.

Henrique, for whom Barcelona will pay 8 million euro° (plus a possible 2 million euro variables) will arrive next week in Barcelona. After the medical tests, he will sign his contract and immediately travel to Leverkusen, where he will play on loan next season (read more here).

Barcelona plans to wait until the player will be fully part of the first team sqaud to officially present him to the fans and the press. This could happen next summer. Because the squad will next week be in Scotland, Henrique won't even be able to talk with Barcelona manager Guardiola.

To gain some time, a Leverkusen doctor will assist during the medical tests, which will enable the player to immediately start working with the German team after his arrival there.

The paper claims that Leverkusen sports director Rudi Völler has pushed hard for Henrique, hoping that he will perform as well as his compatriots Lúcio (now Bayern Munich) and Juan (now AS Roma) have recently done for the Germans.
