Arsenal forward and Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor (24) will not play for Barcelona as of next season, like had been strongly rumoured over the last months (read more here).Arsenal has officially announced today that Adebayor has signed a new deal with the English Premier League club, although no further details were given. The statement on the club's official website reads as follows:
"Arsenal can today confirm that Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a new long-term contract with the Club. Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Emmanuel’s continued contribution to the Club over the coming years."
