Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona Juvenil A attacking midfielder and Spanish youth international Iago Falqué (18) has been told by the club last week that he can stay with Barcelona Atlètic this season.Barcelona Atlètic coach Luis Enrique had decided earlier this pre-season that Iago, who is now playing a tournament with the national team, wasn't part of his plans (read more here) and the player was talking since then with the club about ending his contract (read more here).
The decision will now depend on Iago, who has kept on training with Barcelona Atlètic over the last weeks. Because the attacker thinks he won't be given enough chances by Luis Enrique, Iago is also considering other options. Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam would be interested in Iago.
