Scottish tabloid Sunday Mail claims that Celtic Glasgow is interested in Barcelona Atlètic midfielder Abraham González (23), who joined Barcelona B in the summer of 2007 and whose current contract expires at the end of this season.The Scottish champions would be weighing up a move for Abraham after Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has scouted the Catalan player several times. Celtic midfielder Marc Crosas would also have given a positive report about his former team-mate.
Abraham's agent is quoted by the tabloid as saying that all future options are open: "We can negotiate with any club but are staying calm. Spanish and foreign teams are interested in Abraham. We have not received a firm offer but he is ready to move if the deal is right."
