Asked about the rumours linking Palmeiras forward and Brazilian youth international Keirrison (20), who joined Palmeiras last week, with several European top clubs among which Barcelona (read more here), the player's agent Frederico Pena has said in an interview with British tabloid The Sun that Barcelona is one of the clubs that have asked for the striker:"We have been approached by a number of European clubs and agents supposedly speaking on behalf of clubs. They include Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Porto, Hamburg, Lyon, Fiorentina and CSKA Moscow. However, we have not received any official offers.
No English club or agent has contacted us for the moment. I think this might be because he does not qualify for a work permit in Great Britain. He is now at Palmeiras and will play Copa Libertadores for them. There is no chance he will move to Europe this month. But for the summer there is a big chance."
